Community Education & Service Dog/Disability Awareness Presentation

Paws with Purpose teams provide community awareness through educational presentations in local libraries, schools and community service organizations.  Our primary goal is to create a better understanding and respect for persons with physical limitations, hopefully removing isolation barriers.  We also educate the public about the role service dogs play in the lives of persons with disabilities.

Presentations Can Include the Following

• Showing of short video of a working team
• Demonstrations of service dog skills by dog in training
• Interactive demonstration (audience/dog)

Demonstrations are available for groups of all types and sizes.  If you are interested in scheduling a presentation, please complete the information about your group on the next page and someone from Paws with Purpose will contact you.

Donations for Presentations

Our presenters volunteer their time free of charge.  We welcome any donation for our demonstration/presentation as it helps to cover expenses, and all donations are tax deductible.

• Recommended minimum donation for small groups is $50
• Recommended minimum donation for assemblies is $100

 Other accepted forms of donations are:

• Gift Cards to any local pet store
• Kong Toys – large (red or black)
• Nylabone Toys – large (for chewing, not edible)
• Purple rubber toys by Premier, e.g., Large Twist n Treat
• Charlee Bear small size treats
• Moist & Meaty treats
• Gentle leader head collars (medium or large, any color)
• Dog toothbrushes and toothpaste
• Poop bags (we like the biodegradable kind!)

 ** No Rawhide of Any Kind – No Pig Ears**

Please note that no organization is excluded from presentations for inability to provide a donation.
