Founded in 2003, Paws with Purpose is a non-profit organization that provides Assistance Dogs as partners to children and adults with physical disabilities or other special needs. These dogs provide comfort and companionship, help to break down social barriers, and perform many skilled tasks which help their partners lead more independent lives. With the assistance of generous donors, and dedicated/enthusiastic volunteers, PWP is committed to providing highly skilled service dogs at no charge to the recipients.

Based in Louisville, Kentucky, PWP is proud to provide these highly trained companions to individuals living in the Louisville area.

The Paws with Purpose presentation team will conduct a puppy presentation at The Lagrange Rotary Club

Friday - May 25, 2012 1:00 - 3:00 pm
Elaine Weisberg & Oliver will participate in the Shelby Traditional Elementary School Annual Career Day

Saturday - June 23, 2012 1:00 - 3:00 pm
PWP will be conducting demonstrations at Moochie & Co. A specialty store for dogs, cats & the people who love them.
Moochie & Co. is located in the Shelbyville Rd Mall in St. Matthews.

Saturday - July 14, 2012 1:00 - 3:00 pm
PWP will be conducting demonstrations at Moochie & Co. A specialty store for dogs, cats & the people who love them.

Both the "Read To The Dog" Program at Schacklette Elementary School and the "Ruff Ruff Reader" Program at J.B. Atkinson Elementary School will come to a close this month. Both programs will resume in the Fall 2012-2013 school year.
