MEET PAWS WITH PURPOSE

Founded in 2003, Paws with Purpose is a non-profit organization that provides Assistance Dogs as partners to children and adults with physical disabilities or other special needs. These dogs provide comfort and companionship, help to break down social barriers, and perform many skilled tasks which help their partners lead more independent lives. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, PWP is proud to provide these highly trained companions to individuals living in and around the Louisville & Lexington areas. With the assistance of generous donors, and dedicated/enthusiastic volunteers, PWP is committed to providing highly skilled service dogs at no charge to the recipients.

What's Happening

MS Expo at the Hyatt Regency -

July 26^th, 2008 - MS Expo at the Hyatt Regency. Join us for the first MS Expo in Louisville, Kentucky. Attend unique workshops, educational seminars, and meet vendors that focus on improving your quality of life. 8 am – 6 pm.

Let's Swim!!! -

September 7, 2008 Join us for a refreshing dip at the Oldham County Aquatic Center from 1-4 pm. All four-legged friends invited but they must bring proof of shots.

Bark in the Park -

September 20, 2008 Bark in the Park hosted by Animal Care Society at Seneca Park from 8 am - 1 pm

Louisville Pet Lover's Expo -

September 27^th & 28^th,2008 - Louisville Pet Lover’s Expo at the Kentucky Fairgrounds & Expo Center. Saturday 10-7 pm and Sunday 10-5 pm. Two days of petastic fun and education of the relationship between pets and their pets. This is a family-friendly event with the latest in pet fashions, entertainment, safety and healthcare. Paws With Purpose will be giving a 30-45 minute presentation each day.
